Due to the small dimensions make it easy to maneuver the instrument intraorally and the measuring sticks make it possible, among other things, to plan and check distances, symmetry, parallelism and mesio-distal. On the rear edge of the caliper there are measuring steps 5 and 7 mm for determining the width of the processus alveolaris. Can be separated, cleaned and autoclaved.
