PGA Suture is a braided synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a homopolymer of glycolic acid and is provided coated with polycaprolactone + calcium stearate.
The suture has 50% of its initial strength 14 days after surgery and absorbed after 60 - 90 days. Suitable in situations where it is not necessary or possible to remove the threads, in delicate tissue, in combination with resorbable membranes, periodontal surgery, bone grafts, micro surgery and maxillofacial surgery.
